Capitol Construction took two monotonous, outdated streets in downtown Spartanburg and followed the vision of the city planners to completely reinvigorate the two streets.
First, we demolished all structures, asphalt, and concrete within the street limits in order to upgrade and refurbish the aged storm drainage system. Next, we installed the infrastructure for street lighting and laid a leveled path where the new street was going to be. Site work included 1,500 lf of curb and gutter, three drive entrances, and almost 650 lf of storm drainage pipe. To top it off, Capitol Construction’s skilled workers laid 22,000 sf of brick pavers to enhance the old city charm of the downtown area.
