Situated in the heart of downtown Woodruff, this $1.2M, 4-acre park was reimagined to include a little bit of everything you could think of for a public park this size:
  • 150-person segmented block amphitheater
  • Three playgrounds
  • One “Sprayground”, padded fountain play area
  • Full-sized basketball court,
  • 24 additional parking spaces
  • Landscaping
  • Irrigation
  • 2,500 sf picnic shelter and concession building
  • 3,200 linear feet of concrete sidewalk
To achieve the City of Woodruff’s vision, Capital Construction moved 5,000 cy of soil, laid 1,250 lf of storm drain piping, installed concrete steps, built 2,200 sf of segmented block retaining wall, poured over 400 cy of concrete, and installed more than $35,000 worth of playground equipment.
